The hard part was never building it.
Version one is the straightforward half. What decides whether a product is still earning in two years is the scope somebody held, the decisions somebody wrote down, and whether the next engineer can pick it up without calling us.
Design, engineering, the launch itself
Whether anyone uses it, whether it can be changed, whether it is still running
Most engagements are priced, staffed and finished on the left of that line. We scope for both halves, and we write the second half into the contract.
Four ways this usually starts
Almost every conversation begins with one of these four sentences. Each one leads somewhere different, and the first job is working out which of them is yours.
“The business runs on spreadsheets and WhatsApp.”
The internal system that replaces both, built around how your team already works rather than how a template thinks they should.
“We have an app. Almost nobody opens it.”
The research to find out why, then the rebuild. Often the product was right and the first ninety seconds of it were not.
“We have a name and nothing else.”
Identity, storefront, payments and the launch around them, shipped as one thing so the product and the brand arrive together.
“The person who built it is gone.”
An honest read of what you own, what is safe to keep, and what it costs to carry it. Sometimes the answer is that it is fine.
What we build
Five things, and we would rather do one of them properly than all five badly.
Mobile apps
iOS and Android, consumer products through to field and employee tools, built for the devices and networks your users actually have.
Web platforms and portals
Customer portals, partner dashboards, multi-role admin systems and SaaS products, with permissions and reporting designed in from the start.
Commerce
Storefronts, payments, fulfilment and the launch around them. Built for conversion, not decoration.
Internal systems
CRMs, workflow automation, document intelligence and reporting, for companies running on spreadsheets and WhatsApp today.
Brand and launch
Identity, design systems, content and go-to-market, delivered as part of the product so what you ship and how you present it are one thing.
Run like a regulated build, without the regulator
The governance we apply to systems audited by a central bank is the governance we apply here. It costs us nothing extra to work this way, and it is the reason these projects finish.
- 01One architect, one standardThe same person signs off a storefront and a payment core. There is no junior track for the work that is not regulated.
- 02Documented as it is builtBecause documentation written at the end is written for nobody. This is what makes the handover real rather than ceremonial.
- 03Tested the way a regulated system is testedLoad, integration and the failure paths, not only the route where everything works. Most products are only ever tested on the happy path.
A product that does not move money has a smaller blast radius than one that does, so it can move faster and cost less. What it does not get is a lower standard of engineering, because we do not keep two of those.
The same people, the same standard, the same refusal to ship something we would not want to inherit. The only thing that changes is how much ceremony the risk deserves.
What happens after launch
The right half of that first diagram, in writing. This is the part most engagements leave vague, so it is the part we put in the contract.
- Day zero
Handover
Repositories, infrastructure, accounts, domains and documentation, all already in your name. There is no transfer to negotiate because none of it was ever ours.
- First 30 days
Launch defects are ours
Anything that breaks because of how we built it, we fix, at no cost. We do not call them change requests.
- Month two onward
Your call
A support and improvement retainer at a fixed monthly rate, or nothing at all. You decide after you have seen it live, not while signing.
- Any time after
It keeps working without us
Take the whole thing to another team, or your own. Nothing in it is licensed from us or runs on our accounts.
